Team Pikermi is a group of runners who enjoy running the 13.1 mile distance race commonly known as a half marathon.
The group was formed to bring a sense of camaraderie and fun to the members of the Team and as a way to demonstrate your love for running the 13.1 mile "Pikermi" distance. We'll recognize each other at running events around the world by our shirts and will then instantly find a fun connection. It's a great way to meet new friends who have the same interest in running, and particularly in the Pikermi distance, as you do. |

List Your Upcoming Pikermis |

I just added a new section in the Forum called "Upcoming Pikermis". This is the area where we will list which Pikermis we will be running. By listing them here, we can find out if any other Team Pikermi members will be running the same events, and then we can arrange to meet and hold an "official" Team Pikermi meeting.
So, how this will work is that there is a specific category for each month of the year under the main section of "Upcoming Pikermis". If you are running a Pikermi in, let's say, April...then go into the April section and see if someone else has started a thread for that same Pikermi event. If so, join the thread already started and add your name with a new post to let others know you will also be there. If your event is not yet listed, then start a new thread with the title being the name of the event, the description being the date and place of the event, and then whatever else you want to add in the body of the post.
I started this off with the RnR Dallas Pikermi in March. So you can take a look at that posting as an example. If you are running the Dallas RnR, add your name to the thread. Make sense? Just let me know if you have any questions about that. Now, let's start adding your Pikermis in there and let's see who is going to be where! I think these types of connections will be where the real fun starts with Team Pikermi! |
